Collector to collector - bean to bean.
Big Bean Sports was born out of a lifelong love for sports and the shared bond of collecting - a connection passed down through my dad and father-in-law. I was raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, which means a few things: I know heartbreak, I know loyalty, and I know not to trust a double-digit lead in the 4th.
As a proud fan of the Bears, Bulls, and White Sox, I learned early that sports are less about the scoreboard but more about the stories - and every card has one.
I love every sport, every era, and every oddball insert that spikes conversation. Whether it's a $2 base card or a grail-level pull, what matters most is the connection.
Sports bring us together. That's the whole point.
WHY "BIG BEAN"
Big Bean is a quiet ode to Chicago - the city of the belief that this might finally be our year (we know it's not but still). It's about keeping things fun, nostalgic, and collector-first - without the gatekeeping.
